There has been a lot of talk about the new Mazda6, and rightfully so. The new turbocharged engine is a big deal, so the sedan deserves the attention it has gotten. However, it is no longer the new Mazda on the lot. No, that title belongs to the 2019 Mazda CX-3. This compact crossover has received many updates over the years, and the newest version got some added luxury. Continue reading to learn about its interior updates.

2019 Mazda CX-3 updates

Much of the body and engine of the CX-3 remains the same for 2019. When looking at the outside of the vehicle, one might not think anything has changed. What’s new, though, is the CX-3’s interior features. The crossover has seemingly had everything. It’s stylish, efficient, and spacious, but it has lacked a bit of the luxury factor. Subtle additions are aimed at improving the classiness of the CX-3.

As such, Mazda added available full leather seats for all trim levels for the first time in the CX-3’s history. Also, the rear seating area has a fold-down armrest complete with cup holders. Red ambient, accent lighting has been added to give off a relaxing, yet sophisticated vibe. Lastly, there are new faux-suede appliqués on the dashboard that complete the interior makeover.
